Edinburgh’s Christmas 2013 is set to be the biggest and most beautiful yet, featuring a packed season of attractions in breathtaking central locations, from 22 November to 5 January.
Skate alongside the Scott Monument, take a ride on the Big Wheel and get lost in the magnificent Christmas Tree Maze at East Princes Street Gardens. Sample delicious food and drink at the Scottish and European Markets, catch a show in the Paradiso Spiegeltent, and take in 360-degree views of Edinburgh from the 60-foot high Star Flyer in St Andrew Square.
Light night, the official season opening ceremony, takes place on George Street at 3pm on 24 november. Be there to help launch the Christmas celebrations and watch the city’s lights go on in style!

ACCESS TO UNDERBELLY, COWGATE
The Ground Floor
All spaces on the ground floor are accessible to wheelchairs and other limited-mobility visitors. This includes the box office, press office, venue reception, Beer Belly and Belly Dancer. Please ask any member of staff or ask in the box office.
Other Floors
Unfortunately, due to the very old nature of the building, the first to third floors and the Victoria Street entrance are only accessible via a narrow spiral staircase. These floors include the Jelly Belly, the production office, the upper box office and all performance spaces other than the Belly Dancer. For those with limited mobility who need assistance with stairs, please contact a member of staff or ask in venue reception.
ACCESS TO UNDERBELLY AT BRISTO SQUARE
The Pasture Bar and grazing area
Bristo Square has some steps down from the surrounding pavements, but has ramp on one side. There are accessible Disabled toilet facilities available.
Udderbelly
The Udderbelly has been built to comply with recent disability legislation and provides flat floor access to the auditorium for wheelchair users and others with limited mobility. This is through a separate entrance from normal public access, so please ask a member of staff for assistance who will guide you into the structure.
Cow Barn
Cow Barn is fully accessible and does possess a wheelchair lift. Our Front Of House staff will be happy to help.
Wee Coo
The venue is fully accessible however there is limited space for wheelchairs so please contact the box office to book tickets.
Dairy Room
Unfortunately dairy room is accessed via a long staircase.
